    Modern Slavery Policy

    Overview

    NixInfinity-AI is committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain. Our goal is an inclusive organisation where everyone's skills and contributions are welcomed and valued.

    NixInfinity-AI has a Modern Slavery Act policy, which sets NixInfinity-AI's stance with respect to the prevention of modern slavery and in particular:

    • The expectations that it has of its employees, the third parties with which it contracts (e.g. for the supply of labour, goods, and services) and those operating within NixInfinity-AI's wider supply chain.
    • The commitments that NixInfinity-AI itself makes to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere within the organisation or its supply chains.

    This statement sets out the steps that NixInfinity-AI has taken and is continuing to take to ensure modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chain and covers all operations throughout the world.

    While we continue to believe that due to the nature of our business our exposure to the risk of human rights abuses and modern slavery is minimal within our own business and with our partners and suppliers, we remain vigilant.

    Our Policies

    We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our company. Our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our company relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective solutions and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

    We operate several internal policies to ensure we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. All internal documentation is held on our internal management system, which is available to all employees.

    These include for example:

    • Anti-slavery policy – this policy sets out NixInfinity-AI's stance on modern slavery and explains how employees can identify any instances of this and where they can go for help.
    • Recruitment policy – we operate a robust recruitment policy, including conducting eligibility to work in the UK checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
    • Code of employee conduct – our employee contracts make it very clear to employees the actions and behaviour expected of them when representing NixInfinity-AI. We strive to maintain the highest standards of employee conduct and ethical behaviour during the employment of an employee.

    Our Suppliers

    We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values and ethics, we have in place rigorous selection, due diligence and tender processes which help ensure our suppliers and their supply chains are slavery free.

    We encourage anyone, including colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to report in good faith any issue or concerns about potential unethical business practices, such as fraud and bribery or slavery and human trafficking.

    NixInfinity-AI operates a supplier policy and maintains a preferred supplier list. We conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred supplier. This due diligence includes an online search to ensure a particular organisation has never been convicted of offences relating to modern slavery. Our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking policy forms part of our contract with all suppliers and they are required to confirm that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.

    In addition to the above, as part of our supplier onboarding process, we require that they confirm to us that:

    • They have taken steps to eradicate modern slavery within their business.
    • They hold their own suppliers to account over modern slavery.
    • (For UK based suppliers) They pay their employees at least the national minimum wage / national living wage (as appropriate).
    • (For international suppliers) They pay their employees any prevailing minimum wage applicable within their country of operations.
    • We may terminate the contract at any time should any instances of modern slavery come to light.
